My First Time at NASCAR

Hey y'all. This here ia New Cherrelle givin' a report on the NASCAR qualifyin' race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Miss Betty Jack Devine done took me there and we done had lots of fun. On our way there we seen many amazin' thangs. We seen two giant inflatable beer bottles at the likker store. but they wasn't nothin' compared to the giant inflatable thangs we seen at the race. I seen a giant inflatable eagle, a giant inflatable car and a giant inflatable purple inhaler. That's important 'cause with all the gas fumes from the racin' cars, people's done got to breathe right.

I has just done got there

We done had real good seats. We was about 20 rows back and near a curve on the race track. We could see the pole real good too. It was so excitin'! Them cars move real fast. We done put earplugs in our ears 'cause the sound of them cars bein' so fast can hurt yore ears. Miss Betty jack Devine said she ain't never seen this many people at the qualifyin' race before. They was families of all different races, creeds and religions watchin' the race. Everbody done was havin' some good fun. I enjoyed the fact that I could smoke as many cigarettes as I wanted to and didn't nobody mind.

After the qualifyin'race we done got to see a practice race, so we done got double the fun. After that, we done walked around where the trailers where you can buy merchandise with yore favorite drivers number and name on them. Miss Betty Jack done bought a checkered racing flag, but I didn't buy nothin' 'cause my welfare check ain't come yet. After that we done went home and I will have manymemories of havin' fun and smokin' cigarettes. It was one of the most excitin days of my life and Miss Betty Jack was real sweet to take me there.
